Jürg

Born in Switzerland, shaped by a life of movement and continuous reinvention. My curiosity about how people and systems function runs through everything I do - as a researcher, facilitator, teacher, advisor, entrepreneur, parent, and partner. Always a teacher and a learner.

I was a professor at HAN University of Applied Sciences and Inholland, leading the Master's programme in Supervision and Coaching. I remain involved in leadership education within the MBA program at Nyenrode Business University. As an entrepreneur, I've worked with companies such as Brunel, Heijmans, DHL, TKH, and Achmea.

Throughout my life, I've redefined my path time and again, without losing my core values. For me, transformation means changing the form while preserving the essence. From Portugal, I now focus on systemic leadership and the role of individuals in a changing world.

I believe leadership starts with action - intentional, responsible, and connected. Freedom emerges when we have the courage to act in connection with others and create new possibilities for the future.

Coaching and guidance only work when there is trust—trust in your coach’s expertise but also in the process. That’s why I’d like to share a bit about who I am, how I work, and what you can expect from me.

People have fascinated me since I was young. Why do we do what we do? Why do certain patterns hold us back? My search for answers led me to a career as a manager and later to a five-year training in Transactional Analysis (TA). This changed everything: it gave me a language for what I had intuitively felt and helped me break through my own fears and blockages. Since then, I have been captivated by the power of TA and apply it daily in my work with individuals and teams.

In addition to TA, I work with systemic constellations, psychodrama, strategic coaching, and… horses. If you think people are a flawless mirror, just wait until you meet a horse. No socially desirable responses—this is one of the purest and most effective forms of feedback I know.

With over 30 years of experience as a coach, trainer, and lecturer—at institutions such as Nyenrode and Teamchange.nl—I guide individuals and organizations through learning and change processes. My approach? Respectful, confrontational, and always goal-oriented. I don’t just listen; I provide you with practical tools, exercises, and interventions that truly create movement.
