𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀-𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀

We live in a time full of movement, choices and information. And yet, on a deeper level, little seems to truly change. We increasingly understand what is going wrong in the world, but we act on it with less and less strength. Many of the issues we call “complex challenges” are not knowledge problems, but contact problems.

Our society holds deep fractures: the rupture with ourselves, with one another and with the earth. These fractures are not new. What is new is the speed and scale at which everything presents itself today.

When contact disappears, people seek numbing …, emotional shutdown, avoidance. In speed, screens, dependencies, patterns of perpetrator and victim, in various forms of addiction. This may offer temporary safety, but it comes at the cost of freedom.

Authentic leadership begins with recognising this movement, within yourself and in the world around you. Seeing where contact is lost, and learning to return to presence. Again and again, in how you relate to yourself, to others and to the whole.
